Checking brake drag after winter storage

My ProMaster sat unused over the winter in a cold garage. When I tried moving it this week, it felt sluggish, like something was holding the brakes. No warning lights, and the lever seems normal. Is there a quick way to check if a caliper or parking brake is partially engaged before taking it on a trip?

A seized caliper or stuck parking brake is common during longer storage, especially the parking brake. This is why most people recommend not to have it engaged if you're keeping it parked for longer. I would start by jacking each corner and trying to spin the wheel. The one that has the most resistance is the culprit.
