Still no fix for front end shake

2021 RAM ProMaster 2500, lifted, sitting at 22,000 miles. Only happens when accelerating between 30 and 45 mph, worse on hills. Feels like the front wheels are about to fly off but steering stays steady. Dealer balanced the wheels, no change. One shop hinted at a transmission issue, another threw struts and motor mounts at it. Starting to think CVs but every mechanic dismisses the idea. Has anyone dealt with something like this?

Just a heads-up, lifting a FWD car might not be the greatest idea. If you've got the cash, forget the lift, swap in fresh CVs, and have some fun

Have you considered switching to all-wheel drive?

An AWD swap is a whole different ball game, but it's interesting you also pointed right at the CV joints. Every mechanic I see dismisses that idea. The shops around here seem happy to just bleed me dry on other theories. Do you know if there's a heavy duty or aftermarket CV axle that handles the angle of a lift better than the factory ones?

I have heard the CV axles can cause the issue your having. Replacements aren't too expensive and some people replace the units themselves, depending on your skill level, tools, and space needed.
Good luck!

Wanted to post an update for anyone following along. I took the advice from this thread and replaced both front CV axles myself 2 wks ago. I can confirm that completely solved the shaking problem and the van drives right now. Amazing that the forum figured it out when multiple shops could not.
