ProMaster warranty repair problems

While on a trip, i noticed my van leaking coolant during a gas stop. The local Dodge dealer couldnt help and after checking with several others, I found out the thermostat bolt had been overtightened and stripped the timing cover. Now im stuck using a rental while waiting 3-5 days for the part. The van only has about 13k miles, which makes me worry about what else might go wrong. Turns out, not all Dodge dealers can service ProMasters under warranty, some claim they won't fit on their lifts, which feels like a lame ass excuse. Now I just have to wait it out.

It shouldnt be so, maybe there's a manufacturing flaw they don't want to own up to cos its not something you'd expect early on and the whole "we can't lift a promaster" excuse is getting old fast, if they sell 'em, they should be able to service 'em... period. It's another level of frustrating when the warranty is technically in place, but half the network refuses to touch it
